On an early May morning DP Tutorials team members, Diproy Prattoy, Sababa Ahmed, Rafiat Amir, Fatema Junaed, and Tasmim Kabir Mahim arrived at the land of tea and greenery, Sylhet. Dipro Prattoy’s mother, Barnali Barua, and father, Dhananjoy Majumder, also accompanied the crew, as their constant support and guide, on their endeavors for Sylhet and Cumilla.
On the evening of May 27, 2023, the DP Tutorials team hosted the second leg of the DP Tutorials Study Abroad Tour 2023, at the Auditorium of Hotel Grand Mostafa, Sylhet.
Our CEO and Star Pupils Take the Stage
The night started off with a small skit performed by Sababa and Fatema, introducing our CEO and Founder, Dipro Prattoy. Once he took the stage, he engaged the crowd and meticulously explained to them how to apply to a university in a foreign country.
Next, DP Tutorials’ own successful student applicants, who got into university this year, answered a few questions about their application process.
Sababa, our star girl who got into Connecticut College with a near full-ride, spoke about her struggles with applying abroad, and how she pursued her family to move to a foreign country for her studies.
Mahim, our expert YES alumni, who will be starting his undergraduate studies at UT Arlington, spoke about his experiences studying away for a year, as a high school exchange student in the US, and gave advice on how incoming applicants can improve their application.
Fatema, the night’s surprise student speaker, who will be pursuing her bachelor’s in Malaysia, spoke about her acceptances, rejections, and her journey to applying to four countries.
Sharing Laughter and a Beautiful Ending
An evening of much knowledge-sharing, also included some hilarious entertainment in the form of quizzes and movie dialogues translated into Sylheti. Crowd members who participated got exciting prizes readied by our team.
An evening of wholesome interaction came to a conclusion with Dipro Prattoy answering a few questions, with our student speakers, and delivering a final word encouraging students to work hard and pursue their dreams of studying abroad.
